Rare Vintage 1973 Triumph TIGER 750cc 8-Over Motorcycle For your consideration is a classy 1973 Triumph TIGER 750cc Motorcycle that has been modified and chromed! This outstanding ride has been modified with a 8-over front end and narrowed handlebars. Nearly every nut and bolt on this 1980’s total renovation has been chrome-plated in addition to most of the engine covers. New tires were installed last year in hopes that it could be rode again, but the owner is no longer able to ride it. The ‘bike’ is just too big and heavy and I can’t jump the kick-start, he laments. Cycle has a manual starter and requires considerable ‘force’ to turn it over. This custom creation features numerous coats of black lacquer paint and custom-upholstered leather seat. This great cruiser has 15,092 original miles. The current owner is the 2nd owner. The original owner modified the front end and handlebars in the late 1970’s. This bike was always stored indoors and is still in outstanding condition. There are very few problems with it. The horn does not work; Seat is showing some wear on the upper end and is missing a button; One of nameplates on side is missing a screw. Gas tank has a few scuffs that can be rubbed-out and there is some general wear to other painted and chromed surfaces. Other than that there are no known issues. Cycle was last operated in 2009. When the lucky new owner is found the current owner will have the bike thoroughly checked out by a local mechanic who also rode it last year. This cycle is very loud and very intimidating and will make a perfect companion for that die-hard rider. Please contact us with any of your questions.
